ORCHIDÉE IMPÉRIALE INFLUENCER EVENT FOR GUERLAIN (2020)

OBJECTIVE: Produce a PR event for the launch of Guerlain’s Orchidée Impériale newest innovation.


In the height of the COVID-18 pandemic, Guerlain launched a new product in its luxury line Orchidée Impériale. The strategy was to produce a remote influencer event to showcase the new launch to high-end influencers in Montréal.


With the added challenge of hosting a remote event during the pandemic, I had to find a creative way to make the event exciting in oversaturated PR space. To achieve that, I decided on a two-phase event. The first phase was a presentation gathering all selected influencers to present the new launch, followed by a workshop where influencers were taught how to pot an orchid in a fishbowl. The second phase of the event was a series of individual one-on-one sessions with our expert to answer the guests’ skincare concerns and build custom prescriptions for them.

Gardening kits and the new products were sent to each guest before the event.


The influencers appreciated the event's exclusive nature and workshop element, which allowed us to introduce the product in a creative and fun way. The individual one-on-one sessions added an element of customization that strengthened existing relationships with the guests and translated into authentic publications.
